I ran those fairly close to those splits last year and ran an 18:01 so I'll go with that.
Let us know how you do. I'm always curious to know how these things turn out.
In all seriousness, I thumbed through a dozen of these threads yesterday trying to see what people ended up running. Given the dearth of threads like this that have actual follow-through, I'm kicking around the idea of running another one in two weeks (race is in four weeks) and appending the results to this thread. Either way, I'll follow-through through with the post-race result (a rare treat around here).
For the record, I'll put up 18:37. To the poster who said I might struggle to break 18:30, that's pretty much what I think as well. I figure I'll get a race-day boost for full effort but then again there's no rest between those 1000s.
Thinking about this as a predictor workout... I was pretty tired at the end. Mindlessly running through the last few 1000s, not struggling, but not wanting it to continue... 6:00 pace feels about right to me. I'm quite sure I couldn't have run 18:01 today.
