You people never cease to amaze me. This kid is in high school and many of you are telling him to "act like a grown [expletive deleted] man." None of us fit that description in high school. Not one person in the history of the world.
To the OP, talk with your parents and arrange a meeting with your coach. Talk to them about anytime your coach may have mentioned that you were in some way approaching dismissal from the team. (Assuming this occurred...)
Prior to that, detail reasons for any missed team events as well as instances where you may have gone above and beyond what is asked of you as a team member. Some examples - Assisting with meet set-up / tear-down, transportation of team members / supplies, organization of team events possibly including: meals, morning/recovery runs, team building activities, and so on. My guess is that over the last 4 years you have done a few of the things mentioned.
