It's standsard journalist practice to report when public figures refuse to talk to you. I's worth mentiong that she refused to talk to us. Runners know we will ask the difficult questions.
She told Jonathan she had to cool down. He asked if she'd talk when she came back from the cool-down and she said know.
It's standsard journalist practice for rojo to be an idiot. I's said know when asked if rojo passed kindergarten spelling lessons.

Keith Stone the poster has been around LetsRun and predecessors such as T&Fmedia, RunGroteScheif and the track and field newsgroup and he may have been a Mervite as well. Most of the time I've thought him pretty much a boob however, in this case, he's right.
While I have been on LetsRun since the early days, I was never on T&F Media or RunGroteScheif. I was on Merv (and the RW competitive running forum that spawned it), but left Merv when it stopped being about running and turned into a political forum with an occasional running post (much like LetsRun has become).
As far as why I post here I don't much anymore since there's so little actual running content on the forums nowadays. Outside of trolling the political threads to watch the crazies foam at the mouth there's not much of use here anymore.
As far as this thread it was at the top when I looked, and I have a personal interest because I've had some friends get totally savaged here by unjust drug accusations (no, not anyone from NOP). The Brojos let them get dragged through the mud simply to satisfy the "everyone that's faster than me is on drugs crowd" that seems to dominate this forum. I feel that type of outrageous slander is wrong, just as I feel the slander by innuendo that rojo is doing to Mary Cain is wrong. I also believe firmly that it's destroying the sport.
As far as posting something positive if someone ever actually posts a running related thread that's asking a sincere question, if I see it in the midst of the garbage that normally dominates the first page if I have something positive to contribute I will. I used to do that fairly often, but the last 4-5 years there's not much positive oriented content here participate in.
Clearly the people that say I never say anything positive only read the hate threads where I post to get a chuckle at some imbecile's expense.
Poor Steve, why do you post on the forums? For your personal kicks? Okay ... the garbage you hate so much.
From the time she turns 30 til she dies, Mary Cain will only dream of the days the press wanted to talk with her. There is an old saying: Be nice to the people you pass on the way up the ladder, because you'll see them again on the way back down.
