With that bat flip, Bautista officially proved today what we already knew - he's the biggest ass in the game. I'm going to propose to Weldon that we suspend all coverage of Canadians for 30 days as punishment for Bautista.

I think you are letting your fandom cloud your judgement. The entire country was embarrassed? Really?! All of us? The throwing stuff wasn't the best, but it was an emotionally charged game where officials were making important, game effecting decisions. They shouldn't act that way but its kind of understandable.
As for the Jays players, many of them were trying to get the fans to calm down and stop throwing stuff. So one of them got hyped after being clutch as hell and acted a bit aggressive in an emotionally charged game? How shocking.
To me, his bat throw was like Centrowitz doing the throat slit gesture the year he won NCAAs. Kind of douchy, but these are high level athletes coming through when it matters. Whats more, in the case of this game, the tension was high from the errors on both sides.
Please suspend your coverage of baseball. Maybe you and the Rangers defence can talk about how mean those Canadians are in the off season.

Actually, the craziest thing I've seen in baseball lately is Clayton Kershaw's pitching form, which I'd not seen before this week. That big windup, and then he comes to almost a complete stop with his leg planted, and then has a quick release? I mean, isn't the momentum of the first phase completely lost? In the old days, what he's doing would be a balk, on every single pitch.
