I love hearing stories of guys who took up a sport later in life and still found a way to the top of their sport.
Can you think of any examples of male athletes who fit this criteria? Steve Way is a great example of a runner who found success despite starting at 33 years old.
(Not as interested in women for this thread because there tends to be a lot more women who have success in athletics later in life. There seems to be fewer men in this regard, which arguably makes their stories more interesting).
