I was scrolling through results and saw an NAIA runner run a very early season sub 24:30 in the 8k. I got to looking and realized this dude is OLD. Like upper 20s.
I did some more digging and found that he actually competed for Purdue in 2006,

Even though he competed one season at Purdue, his 5 year clock started, correct? So since it has been 9 YEARS since his freshman year of college, isn't his 5 year clock out? His roster also says he is a Sophomore, but he competed for Indiana Wesleyan last year also, making him at least a junior with his Purdue XC season.
What's going on here? He's also the guy who was "going to win" NAIA indoor nationals 5k before they cut it a lap short and he got third.
