where to begin
firstly over what distance and how did you do this exactly!?
Secondly, never....NEVER! use a agrmin or any gps watch to evalute top end
There calibration is marked by something like 0.01km which means it only takes a reading every 10m etc(this is for top spec ones!) as its not a constant it really doesnt equate to the finer details correctly over a short distance, hense why sprinters never use one but rather use timing gates etc
most importantly as to my question, it should make no difference if you alter your run up distance and'know' how to accelerate correctly
If you merely timed from standstill toa set point and seen what top MPH you got verses running into the 'fly zone' obvioulsy it will be differenent
