It seems as if winter is a couple of days early here in Michigan. I began my run this morning at 7:00. It was 13 degrees and very windy. Ran 15 miles. By the end of the run the temperature had dropped to 6 degrees and the wind had picked up. Last 2 miles were easily 5:45 effort and ran about them in about 13:30. How cold was it where you ran today?

60 degrees and sunny at 5pm in Austin, TX today. No complaints here!
It was pretty nice when I ran this morning. I did about 15 miles and it was around 34 degrees. not really any wind. After about 2 miles my body was warmed up enough to keep a good pace.

It was 6 degrees when I put in my 10 miler at 3:30 this afternoon. It was pretty much stuck at 6 all day here in Royal Oak.
4 freakin' degrees. However, it was 70 on my treadmill!

Upper 50s to low 60s
I wore shorts and a tank top today. By the end of the week the temps won't get out of the 20s.

I actually layered pretty well and never got cold during the run. However, my left eyelash got quite a workout the last 15 minutes - a bead of sweat froze on it and got batted up and down until I reached my car and plucked it off.

Barcelona, it was probably only low 20´s though. Today is 15 with sunshine and blue sky again. Just sounded better if I said 20´s...[quote]Christian wrote:

It was low teens with a nasty, biting wind for our long run this weekend (cut short to 13+ miles). My jaw was frozen. It felt like I had been given novocaine. My buddy's hands were shot. Some of the roads were icey, the trail had about an inch of snow on it. Let's just say that it wasn't the most pleasant run we've ever had. Currently, although the sky is blue and it's "postcard picturesque" out there, it's also 18 below with a breeze. I'll be hitting the treadmill in the basement today (65F). I don't need a repeat performance quite so soon.
It is pretty, I'll say that much. Looks like a Currier & Ives print outside my window.
12 degrees with a wind chill of -4.
-1F at 5:30 AM. We ran outside, at that hour as usual, just so we could say that we did our typical 9.5 miles. Frosty faces, but after about the first 10 minutes, it was like most any other run.
Three and half hours later, it is still less than 2F.
