Crazy talented - athletes like him and Geb don't come around too often.
favorite part: drummers
He is so jacked up on PED's it isn't even fun watching. Anyone who thinks the 5 and 10K records weren't achieved through pharmaceutical help is crazy.

PEDs or not, that guy was an absolute machine. Flawless form, 10x the guts of Mo. He even looks absolutely spent at the end of that race. But noooo, he's got to be on something 'cause, "look everyone, he ran faster than me and I can't have that."
Would be awesome to have the Komen of '97 show up to current races.

bad reasoning

How so? What's the human limit on a 5,000? Are there guys today not on PEDs running 12:52? 12:58? 13:00?

Did you watch the Paris, 2012, 5000m? A bunch of guys who couldn't hold a candle to Komen, Geb or Bekele, ran sub 12'50. Do you honestly think a few outliers (the above 3, the only people to have ever done so) couldn't run faster than that race?
Two men, in the heart of the EPO era, when no test was available, shaved more time off the world record than in the previous two generations of runners.
Sorry guys, but Komen and Haile were doped.
So was Guerrouj.

What the human limit might be has no bearing on the likelihood of that person's claim being correct, that it, that Komen doped.
It was open season for EPO. Zero percent chance of getting caught.
EPO was rampant in cycling. No reason to believe the best runners weren't using it too.

Komen broke the WR once, by 2 seconds.
Now, with testing far more advanced than it ever has been, more runners ran sub 12'50 in a single race than in any other race in history.
Sorry guys, your 'logic' fails.

We rarely even see anyone try push themselves anymore.
We have no idea what today's runners can do because they don't ever race the clock.
Not in the 5000.
You can't have both ways , buds
If you think Mo Farah is on something then surely Geb and Bekele were on something 2....
Absolutely machine is an understatement

They've been doped all along since they started competing
Geb started on the juice about 1992-EPO
full throttle
Bekele about 2002

Hey! Thanks for that inside info. We love specifics around here. When did Mo start? We know via Magness that Rupp started in high school. We are trying to nail down a date for Farah, can you ask your sources?
Finally someone making sense around here ..why thank you , sir ?

stoopid consideration
Komen in '97 Berlin was likely in route-1, paced to bell
