I've looked on this board and elsewhere, and can't find the perfect answer. Maybe there isn't one? In any case, I need to pace runners I coach during longer runners, especially when we're throwing in tempo miles, and I need to use a bike. I've been using various wearable GPS running watches, but am not happy with their accuracy or consistency, especially when under tree cover or on cloudy days, etc. I was hoping to find a bike computer that:
1. Measured speed by wheel-mounted rotation sensors, in addition to or instead of GPS. My theory is that I'll get more consistent data that's at least accurate enough for running workouts.
2. Gives a minutes/mile pace readout.
Any ideas? What are you other coaches using?
