So this is neither a troll attempt nor a humble brag. My 11 year old daughter ran a 5k this am in 25:16 off of mainly soccer conditioning and dance. My 9 year old daughter ran 28:06, though she ran two days a week for six weeks leading up to this race, and she dances two nights per week. I know that many kids are faster at this age, but the race was at about 5,900' altitude and not pancake flat. I don't know what would be considered as good age group times at this age... Just trying to get a feel for where they are at? And, no, I'm not going to start training them at so young an age. Just want them to have fun with it. Any advice? Thanks.
