Ashton's WR - 10.23 and 45.00 and 13.69 and 4:17...that is unbelievable..he is amazing..and humble.
Bolt was awesome, as always...destroyed Gatlin even in a down year..he is so clutch.
Even if the 5000m is my favourite race to run and watch, I particularly enjoyed Wayde Van Niekerk blazing 43:48 and I also enjoyed very much the outstanding performance by Julius Yego in the javelin.
Very impressive world championships indeed.
Exo test made its usual mediocre showing. EPO microdosing had some good results but not consistent. Growth factors had a lot of dominant performances. But I would give the gold medal to the as-yet-secret stimulants and weight-energy management techniques that stole the show.
That Allyson Felix third leg has to be a contender as well.

Christian Taylor: now second longest legal TJ ever.
Julias Yego: now third longest JT ever .
Wayde Van Nieker: now fourth fast 400m ever.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce: sixth and seventh WC golds.
Usain Bolt: ninth, tenth and eleventh WC golds.
Ezekiel Kemboi: now up to four WC golds.
Allyson Felix: ninth WC gold.
Asbel Kiprop: third WC gold.
Jessica Ennis: second WC gold, only back competing after having child in May.
Vivian Cheruiyot: fourth WC gold, back after missing 2013 and 2014 due to starting family.
Almaz Ayana: 8:19 closing 3000m in biggest winning margin ever at 5000m.
David Rudisha: second WC gold, returning from injury problems.
It's one hell of a cohort at the moment. (Consider that we didn't see the best of various current athletes that are probably among the best ever like Lavillenie, Barshim, W. Kipsang, Kimetto, Amos, Adams.)
Quite possible that one or more of Dibaba, Ayana, Kiprop could produce a world record before the end of the season now.

I cant remember as spectacular a last lap run in any 1500 in the past compared to that of Kiprop today.
I wouldn’t have bet on who would win the gold medal winner at the bell, but I would have bet my house on the winner not being Kiprop, in the position he was at that time.

It would have to be Centro for talking all that shit and coming up huge in the final.
Either that, or the US team for having three runners in the steeple, the 1500m, the 5000m and the 10000m. Such depth we have now. So many losers who really had no impact at all. Awe inspiring for sure.
My personal favorite was Schippers' 21.63. Came out of no where.
