That's just the men.
That's just the men.
I was just about to start at thread. How about it, all 3 Us men to the 1500 final.
Your thread is even more positive.
A very cool sight to see.
Especially cool for Robby. This meet and this season can already be deemed a success for him--he made the U.S. team, then he went on to make something out of that spot. Getting into the final of these championship 1500s is not easy, especially when you're in a round that goes 3:35.
It's very exciting to see someone so obviously talented, who's been "knocking at the door" for the last few years, to start putting things together. Whatever the outcome of the final, it will give Robby a lot to build on for Rio.
BUT... no medals.

So when was the last time we had three men in each of the distance finals: 1500, 3000SC, 5000, 10000 in a WC or OG?
I've looked up through 2008 and the 3000SC and 1500m have been where we failed.
I looked up 84 and 88 OG and 83 WC and again we didn't get three men to the finals of all the distance events.
Has it EVER happened?
