Bolt will win. Tough to lose when you're basically allowed to dope indiscriminately.
Zarnell Hughes for bronze - 19.90
Prediction: Bolt 19.42
Gatlin: 19.56
I had a $15 bet on yego and coburn to win. You can imagine my disappointment when she went backs in the last 50
Bolt 19.6 1
Gatlin 19.7 2
bolt destroyed gatlin. pulled on him hard in the last 60 and coasted.
thank the lord for usain bolt
Roughly even at 100, then Bolt won it between 100 and 150. Could've been Infeld'ed for coasting the last 30, but fortunately Gatlin wasn't close enough at that point.
lol these champs are a farce. A sad day when Gatlin looks like the squeaky clean athlete.

Damn close
Bolt kicked Gatlin's ass!!!
Why is Gatlin celebrating his silver. He was the overwhelming favorite coming into World Championships and got beaten twice, for the first time in two years.
I think Gatlin was psychologically drained & didnt deal with the nerves aswell as Bolt. Bolt eased off at the end - looked like a he was running a first round heat!
Yes the stringent testing in Jamaica puts my mind totally at ease.
Meh. I'm happy Bolt won, but Gatlin under-performed here. I wanted to see Bolt really challenged.

It wasn't close at all. Bolt coasted that last 20m like he tends to do when he has a sizeable lead.

The prediction, not the race

I was thinking the same thing, then I thought Nike must have not liked what he did after the 100 and told him to put on a happy face next time no matter what.
How can anyone be "happy" that Bolt won? Were you also happy when Dibaba won? I'd rather see hardworking clean athletes like Schippers, Buchel, Martinez, Visser, and the Japanese women succeed than these freak shows. Eff 'em.
