Everyday there's a race that it's just a complete joke. The level of doping is so blatant that it's just sad to watch. Mo, Dibaba, the 400 today... joke, joke, joke...

I've kind of assumed everyone is doping for about as long as I've been following the sport. Are you only realizing this now?
Once you make peace with that fact, watching T&F becomes fun again because you realize the playing field is level. That's been the case with me for two decades, and I'm enjoying the sport as much as I ever did.

What are you talking about? The point here is that they're all on something. Dibaba just happens to be on something and also has more talent in the first place (or maybe she's just a harder worker, can't count that out).
Drugs don't do the work for you. They let you do more work, and make the work easier. But don't kid yourself into thinking Dibaba is one of the only dopers in that field.

2) Not everyone who is doping has access to the same drugs and / or methods.
3) There is not a universal physiological response to any particular drug. Some are high responders to a drug while others are not.

Same here. I competed for many years and have followed the sport for decades. I haven't watched 1 minute of the WCs.
I stick to following the high school running scene nowadays...definitely not 100% clean there either, but much cleaner than the elites.
Where were you guys when Kevin young ran 46.78 for 400h...el g ran 3.43 for a mile...geb/bekele ran sub 13 for the back half of a 10k...komen dropped a 7.20...johnson ran 43.18...c'mon, why all the sudden surprise?! It has been here AWHILE.
It seems more open and cynical now than in the past. I'm just watching a few select races but it's discouraging.

How can anyone watch a race like the women's 1500m and say "what an amazing athlete, what a great race"??? It's all a big joke. This race was even worse than the 1500m in London 2012 and we know how that ended...

Why now? There has been doping forever in T&F. Not everyone, but a lot of athletes have been doped at every meet, every major championship for quite some time. It's part of the sport. So, why outrage now? You must not like the results.

I watch WCs with the understanding that there is rampant doping. I also don't care in the least. I just want to watch people go fast, whether they're on coke, EPO, HGH, Marijuana, Diet Pepsi, or are all natural. I don't really care. So long as someone runs a 43.4x 400, a 1:41.x 800, a 3:26.x 1500, etc, I honestly couldn't care what they're on.
