Is this for real?
This can't be real
With a flying start...probably doable.
33 seconds for a 300 is pace for 44 seconds for a 400m, right? I bet he is in shape for a 45.8ish 400m race. So that makes sense for someone of his level.
If Loxsom can run 20.9, Rudisha can hit 33.high
With full recovery I believe it. Not like he's doing 10x300 with 1:00 rest in 33 or something.
We can't say for sure if it's real or not.
But we can tell for sure that he actually COULD do say 2 x 300m in 33 if he takes like a 8 minute rest.
Remeber that he probably ran that en route to his 400m PB.
However i would bet that it's all mind games for Beijing.

This isn't surprising tbh. He's run sub 46 for 400 and his coach has stated before that he can do 21s from a standing start 200.
If that's the case then Beijing final will be blazing. This is why I like the 800m the most nowadays - its all out and no cat-and-mouse games like in the 1500m/5k/10k.
Why wouldn't this be real?
The question is too stupid to even ask.
He has a 45.50, run in February.
Even without a rolling start he would hit 300 in 33-point doing that time.
The real question is how many. 2x300 with full recovery is one thing. Four or even three...another thing entirely.
sounds like the type of workout a world 800m metal contender could and should do.
with jog start we are talking about 34.5 + 11.5 = 46 flat pace for 400m which is definitely in the wheel house of a 45 low, 141 (guess right now) guy..
the key is "lack of pain"
last coupla years he said problem has been pain in joint when running fast
he said that has been reason for restricted running
if he is pain free, then he shoud be looking at 1'41+
The dude has one of the toughest world records on the track. Yes, he can run repeat 33s.
awesome

Amel Tuka, with 35 on 300, will crush them.

crushes
LOL
33.0 or 33.9 big difference
Then as others have said how many, rolling starts, recovery time

Amos is a GENIUS, his form gets every last drop of power out of his PKC's by flailing his arms. Alfred Kipketer can do it too. Try flailing your arms, it will work, you'll see.
Flailing Rudisha 2012 = 1:40.11. Too late now though.
