When I had 8 weeks off it felt like starting all over again, I couldn't even run 2 miles without stopping.
I had eight weeks out from a stress fracture in my metatarsal. My old PB in a 5K was 20:39 (I know I suck ass). It took me 7 months from a new runner doing 30mpw and I was doing 12 mile runs back then, with 6-8 milers too. Now my time is 20:51. This is after 2 months of running from 8 weeks off, except now I'm only on 12mpw and I haven't ran over 3 miles since June. Is this normal?
My legs do not get tired at all, just my lungs. My calves hurt too much to do over 3 miles but before I used to run 2 miles to the 5K then 2 home afterwards. Why do my legs fatigue so badly now after 3 miles but my PB is close?
