It sounds like you don't understand what TEAM means. Notice there is no I in TEAM. If you wanna be a TEAM player your gonna have to stop b!tchn about ME this and I that. I suggest you post your b!tch a$$ winining to Twatter and then maybe you can have a nice cushy "career" as a celebrity "runner" talking gossip with Mrs. Goucher over a grande mocha frapaccino.
How dare a slower runner run faster than a faster than runner on a training run!!!
Blasphemy !!!
Nonsense!!!
Bull-sheet!!!
Every runner must know their place, and the finishes of training runs must exactly match the expected finishes in real races.
There is no "I" in TEAM, but there is an "I" in WIN.

Found the slow kid that pushed the pace on easy days then ran in the 17:30s on race day.
But he always tries.
It's only on the easy runs that he actually CAN lead.
Yes it's either the slowest guy or his buddy who skips the hard workout days and shows up on the off days to run out front.
One day he'll beat the crap out of you.

Well, slower runners got you down? All you have to do is drop em'. Simple as 7:00,5:20.
Just make sure after you drop them, you slow down, because as a star runner, there is no way in heck you would bomb a workout.
If he is running too fast for the workout, just let him run away, he will slow down when nobody runs off with him. If he is not going overly fast, let him lead for once. Give him a break.
when i were a freshman, the top 7 guys pinned me down and farted in my face for pushing an easy day. Do you think it had any long term mental health consequences?

There are three ys in syzygy.
It's the guy that ran for the slowest HS team and was used to leading every day
How many teams have you been on to reach the conclusion that it's ALWAYS the slow guy leading easy runs?
My experience was very different.

Usually. And the operative word is "tries."
this is the type of desperate person who will try to cheat and use "magic" steroids.
they are losers who don't know how to train properly.
they get jealous of the champions who get endorsement deals. they then start to flip the table around and accuse people like rupp of doing the same. they think, "hey, i used chemical enhancement but i still lost. the others must be using even more than me! i have to keep crying to get other people's attention."
