Yeah, this is just weird and sad to me. It would be like Mo Farah not racing after not winning the London Marathon. Oh wait....
Seriously, though, it's a damn shame because Worlds should be about the best all being present, and she is certainly in that "best" category. Majiewski (sp?) wasn't all that in the few years before London, but on the day he was great. Anything can happen, but she decided not to show. What a shame, I'll miss her.
What? Wouldn't the normal response here be "she's been busted, but they're waiting for the B-sample and it will all be revealed after Beijing"...?
she came back too soon and realized it. she knows her body and if she thinks she is not fully recovered it is the right call.
