I'll bet he's already coaching the angels!
Arthur Lydiard was a "coach's coach" or "runner's coach", along the lines of Bill Rodgers, Ron Hill, and Steve Ovett being a "runner's runner". He was a man of the people, who would help anyone who was sincerely interested in improving. He was very approachable, and certainly did not keep his training methods hidden, like some coaches do.
Michigan Runner has posted the Internet TV show/video of excerpts from Arthur Lydiard's presentation in Utica, Michigan on December 1. Both QuickTime and Windows Media Video files are available.
We hope that folks who were unable to attend one of his clinics can get some sense of his passion for our sport, his sense of humor and his respect for the audience.
