I usually do all of my runs starting at the top of a long, steep hill. I have a friend position himself beside me on a bike with a trailer. Another friend is in the trailer with weights (lead BB's in old Jordans with the laces tied together). I start off running down the hill as fast as I can. Every 20 ft as I gain speed, my friend in the trailer tosses 5 pounds on to my vest . Eventually by the bottom of the hill, I have added approx. 180 pounds. I will do this 5-6x with the ride back up as rest. My stride is about 15ft on flat ground, with a cadence around 500, depending on the terrain/weather. I can also cannonball high jump about 7.43ft with a short run up.
