Seven marathons? Who is saying that? They have actual data on this in the official FIFA game recaps, the top running box-to-box midfielders in the World Cup last year were running/moving 12-14 km in a 90 minute match, more if there was extra time.
For example Michael Bradley ran the longest distance for the US in every game.
