Has anyone ever used high volume of fast strides 100-200 to get over an injury either deliberately or by chance?
I'm thinking of trying this out, have an Achilles issue that is totally fine doing fast strides 14-16 sec 100m, but craps out on runs of 7:00 min pace after a few miles, every time I do 4-6 strides (usually twice a week.100-150m) the following days run it feels better.
My thought process is what if I build up to 15-20 100's or 12x200 at a moderately fast pace 2x a week it could help iron out the kinks in my stride that may be causing the Achilles issue(which has been treated with everything you can think of so no need to suggest rehab)
Anyone ever gotten rid of an injury with faster strides?
