Evan Jagers Addresses People Who May Think He's on Drugs and His Supplement Usage

I honestly don't think the athletes know if they taking anything. plausable deniability. remember when all the morrocans said they were just getting b12 shots? how many ways can peds be adaministered in a way that an athlete may not know whats going on?

We might as well shut down WADA. All we need to do to find out if an athlete is doping is ask them what supplements they take and whether or not they believe in a clean sport.

Evan Jager strikes me as being very honest in interviews, both in this discussion and on other topics. I recall an interview after he did not win an indoor 800 at UW. The interviewer gave him every opportunity to say 'I was just training through, and it's January, it so it doesn't matter' but instead he said 'Whenever I pin a number on I run as hard as I can: I just got beat'.

I think he's clean. Cool guy. Amazing talent. Looking forward to watching him break 8:00

Really like Jager and Derrick from BTC. Think they're both well spoken, good, honest guys dedicated to the sport they love.

Jager drops a 3:32, is one of the top in the world in the steeple and he of course is clean. Rupp runs a similar time (Mile conversion) is one of the top in the world 5- 10k and of course he is doping.

I make no claims on whether any of them are but I'm always amazed how some get a free pass and some don't.

If Jager ran for Salazar, he would be assumed to be dirty. Of course, he'd have PRs of 3:39.4/7:57/12:57 by now as well. and not because of better coaching.

I know. Citing improvement as evidence can lead you to double standards pretty quickly.Few people accuse Jäger because he seems nice. Of course, people who come across as nice or interview well can also be cheats, there were guys like that in Cycling. I root for him and would love to see him medal.I have no idea who is clean or dirty and have just decided to watch.

I don't know who is or who isn't, but it is amazing how the Schumacher group seems to get a free pass. BTC and NOP are Nike sponsored, based in the same location and probably share many, many resources. How one is viewed as clean and the other dirty amazes me. And if you think the Adidas, NB, Puma and other sponsored teams will sit idly by, you're mistaken too.Unfortunately, everyone is suspect.

So over night an athlete starts running some incredible races and PRs, and he has no idea how that happened? Probably it has nothing to do with injecting a needle up his behind or rubbing some cream on his girly legs. Nice try.

Well if the general population is smug and bigoted enough to simply believe that just because someone is well spoken and nice that they can't be a drug cheat..... well shoot anything is possible....nice enough try?

Schumacher despises Salazar for the way he bends the rules. They had words about it at US indoors last year amidst the DQ fiascos.

Uh... well .... at least if we find a cheater we keep them in-State by electing them to public office. That way we can keep on eye on them and they won't bother the rest of you decent folk.
