Rupp finally declares for USA Outdoors 5k and 10k

Both 10,000s are next Thursday night, the 25th.

Looks like a small declaration list for the men's 5km (as of 6/18, 8AM below):

I'm assuming they are going to expand the "accepted" athletes next week in order to fill out the fields?

Interesting to see Riley Masters entered in the 5K and scratched out of the 1500m.

I won't cheer for Rupp. The other yes. Alberto keeping silent, and silencing his inner-core players makes them non-entitites.

Amen...MEN. You are neglecting Jenny Simpson, Molly Huddle, and basically our women's 800 meter team.

If he does finish first everyone says "See? He won because he doped." If he doesn't win everyone says "See? He didn't win because he's no longer doping." Either way he ends up looking bad.

To clarify, I meant we will medal in the men's 5000 and 10000. Didn't realize I needed to add extra words, lest it appear that I didn't think Alyson Felix would medal in the 200....

I am rooting for Galen and hope he wins them both. I hope he has a clear mind and just runs his ass off.

Someone should make a large sign on the backstretch that says "Galen Rupp = CHEATER"

He can see that for 25 laps. Maybe the board can be neon green with black lettering so his eyes will be be forced to see it. And we know the backstretch stands won't be full for a 10k so should be doable?
