Aden has coached Farah for more than a year. It is sad he has no credit for this.
He has actually seemed at a distance from Alberto since beginning his marathon training after 2013 world's, which the latter didn't support (later he said "Mo is a greyhound ..."). Mo will desert Salazar publicly if the fallout worsens. Much of the time since then he has trained in Africa or Europe, usually without Salazar.

Agree, if people think there are lots of accusations and innuendo flying around at the moment imagine what it will be like if Mo dumps Al. Salazar is not the type to quietly shrink in to his corner and not say a word, the gloves will be off. I think this is why we haven't heard from Al yet, he's waiting to see which way his star athletes lean.

Agree, if people think there are lots of accusations and innuendo flying around at the moment imagine what it will be like if Mo dumps Al. I think, whether he wants to or not, whether he is guilty or not, Farah will HAVE to break ties, especially after this latest revelation about the needles. He has to preserve his good standing with UK Athletics, and maintain his image, to try to repair the damage and stay focused on his racing.
As for AlSal and NOP, I think it will go down like this: USADA and WADA will investigate. And more and more people will come forward. The guilty especially will speak out, if they feel they can get away without bans, or reduced punishments for cooperating (see Tyson Gay).
As more people speak out, Nike will circle the wagons. NOP may disband, or perhaps rebrand. Al Sal will be forced to retire, and may be at risk of federal charges for running his own pharmacy.
Rupp, I fear, is n the biggest trouble of them all. So inextricably tied to AlSal, that even if he came clean, he'd still come away with a pretty serious ban. I never thought I could've imagined it, but I think his 2012 silver is in very, very real jeopardy.

Makhloufi doesn't have access to Rupp's resources: unlicensed doctor, unlicensed pharmacist, free-drug refills, and WADA-style blood testing to keep him under the radar. Has Makhloufi ever run a Rupp-style post race workout?
Yes, he has ALL of those resources, including a federation that backs his every move. Have you ever seen Rupp drop the hammer with 300 to go in the Olympic Games, and make it look like he's at a high school dual meet?
So Makhloufi's coach has his own WADA capable testing lab, is also an unlicensed physician and pharmacist, and finally has in secret pharmacy in his home?

Remember the BALCO scandal broke because a disgruntled Trevor Graham mailed a syringe to USADA. So it's not inconceivable. Salazar is psychotic and vengeful that if they feel betrayed by Farah trying to jump ship as it's going down, Salazar would try and take him down with him.

I agree with everything except the 2012 silver being in jeopardy. Maybe in the court of public opinion but he never failed a drug test in 2012, he has and by the way never will fail any test. As much as we can trust/believe/know that evidence like the 'GR' blood chart that details 'testosterone medication' is exactly what we think it is, there is no way that holds up in a court of law. GR is in a legal sense a completely ambiguous and arbitrary set of letters and 'testosterone medication' likewise.
Both those rats have medals and $$$ from London and no matter what should accept that it will be that way forever.
