I ran barefoot strides on artificial turf today in Connecticut where temps were well over 80 degrees Fahrenheit. I first checked that the artificial turf was not too hot to the touch and I thought I would be fine. But after two 100m efforts I decided to don my socks and shoes again as I was already hurting from the heat. Now ( about nine hours later) I walk daintily and am blistered slightly. Advice on speeding healing?
