My Teammate(s) Take Over 40 Pills/Day

The body does not process all that crap. I hope they drink a gallon of water a day to flush it out. Waste of $$$.

Ps. I use to be a "sup junkie" so I know.

I've gone through a supplement stage in my running career too, usually when I wasn't running as well as I wanted. When I was running my best, the only thing I took was a multi vitamin and iron I bought at the grocery store. Train hard, smart, and consistent, that's the most important thing.

Went through a supplmenet phase myself, I cant believe the cash I spent on that crap. Buy better groceries.

Animal Paks? Are they sprinters or distance runners?

I think adding a quality multi-vitamin and fish oil to a balanced diet is beneficial but there is no need to be stacking 40 pills per day.

Until then, I'd speculate that at best they are wasting their money, unless of course they get at least some of that stuff for free...
