Like almost everyone else on this website, I have no direct knowledge about anything that does or does not go on at NOP. In first reading and now rereading Epstein's article, there are two things that appear to me as odd. First, setting aside Goucher's claim about Cytomel, it looks as if everything claimed against Salazar turns on Rupp. There's not a single claim (in the evidence brought forth in the article) against Ritz, Farah, Ulrey, Hasay, Moser, Erdmann, Levins, Centro, or anyone else. If doping were systematic at NOP, and if there was doping why wouldn't it be systematic, wouldn't you think Magness and Goucher would have seen some evidence of it? And in Goucher's case, apparently the only drug Salazar asked her to take was Cytomel, which of course she wouldn't take. No EPO? No hardcore PEDs? Second, while I have no idea what "testosterone medication" might mean, if it is sinister (and again, I don't know), isn't is bizarre that Salazar was willing to share the relevant records with someone who had been working with him for only two months!? I find that quite hard to believe. So it turns out that the guy who is the world and Olympic champion is clean, yet the guy who has never won a race in Europe, and has won only one "international race" (in Eugene) isn't?
