What is it about the 7 minute barrier. It seems no matter how fast or how slow you are, the bulk of the running (training) is guaged or around the 7 minute barrier. I mean world class guys do tons of mileage at this speed and your 22 minute 5k guys run mostly around 7 minute miles. I am a 16 minute type and I base lots of miles off of 7 minutes (easy and long stuff of course).
