This year was my first year of CX, as a freshman. I first did track in 8th grade. That was the first sport I ever joined. I am 6'. Currently I am about 155 lbs. I will be creating a training log on here that I will hopefully post daily, or weekly, over the summer.
My PRs are very weak. In 8th grade, my 1600 was 5:40. My CX PR is 20:50. After a disappointing season in track, my PR remains 5:28 1600 and 12:20 3200, both of which I got on the first meet of the season. My goal is somewhere around 19:10 for next CX season. Your feedback on my daily runs would be appreciated.
I am three weeks into my summer training. So here it is:
Week 1: 20 miles (Mostly just 4 mile runs)
Week 2: 24 miles
And where I am at right now:
Week 3: Day 1: 6 miles (43 minutes) (Medium-hard effort, large hill)
As a side note- I usually run with a small group of people.
