Merber has broken his old personal best, which is the collegiate record I believe, that was set at Swathmore. Some people regard this race with suspicion because of the many big personal bests that were set there.
He has been having a good year, great job by him! Can he scalp some big names at US nationals?

Great meet and great event (especially for the kids who got to do a victory lap after each race with the Elites and free Furman Elite shirts while parents enjoyed the beer tent).
Tons of PR's in both fields and awesome seeing some standards run outside of Europe. Better than Oxy. Go dins.
Jeff See made the race. Hope beers were bought by Merber for him.
Beautiful setting for a meet.

I was at the meet he did run the full 1,500m, 3:34.5 is legit
I was there and it looked like from where i was standing on the homestretch that the runners all started way ahead of the usual 1500m start line at Furman. Maybe I was just in a bad position, but it could've been a conspiracy by all the athletes to get pr's?
Check flotrack out for race videos... Rabbits did a great job hitting splits perfectly and the field took advantage of a great opportunity. Huge races, excited crowd...it was awesome.
