At Stanford students are not willing to sacrifice their academics and GPA for a sport. Running for Stanford creates the perfect Madison Holleran type situation. A lot of the times these girls are so exhaused that they are depressed. So the option is to either quit or be miserable. The only ones that can handle the academic pressure and athletic pressure are either abusing stimulants, or they are naturally brilliant to where they don't need to study much. One of the girls mentiond in the OP collapsed from exhaustion one day after doing a crazy workout then completing a 9 hr study session for an exam she had. So do a lot of girls quit track? Yes we are only human. I'd appreciate if Stanford university and especially the womens track team was not talked about on this message board. Thank you.
Pretty good 7/10.
Cayla Hatton ended up dating a guy who is like 6 years older than her and whether they want to admit it or not, it has had an adverse affect on her running and enjoying the sport. The guy is a hack who while a runner, can barely string together a marathon, nowhere near Hatton's (former) level. Of course now Hatton is also nowhere near her former level...

What does his age and marathon ability have to do with any of this??? Did Cayla Hatton beat you in a race or something?

And, Milt can recruit . . . granted, the Stanford name recruits itself . . . but this fall's incoming class of mid-d/distance types including Aragon/O'Keefe/Walker/Donoghu/Debalsi & Cortes/Ratcliffe equals any class Vin ever brought in years ago.
Again, with the rosters finally "stabalizing" after a year's lapse, would like to read the perspective of others on Stanford's xc/t&f programs as Milt completes his 4th school year at the helm.
Nah most of the high profile recruits you named will not be running in a couple years. I think most of these girls just realize running sucks and you don't get paid for it.

Nobody listens to you anymore you old hag.
Is Hatten in med school somewhere? Is Cuffe in med school somewhere?
You do have to think.
To finish college or what you start.
People don't think.
Many girls don't think.
That's why they so easily kill their babies.

Is Aisling ever gonna run a professional race?
It's the old "Indians" curse for using human American Indians as mascots and now being called something stupid like Cardinal instead of something correct.
