That's a pretty tough course, too, with the dreaded Harlem Hills. Course record is 27:35 by Leonard Komon in 2011.

Agree. I doubt you could find a single competitor who truly dislikes Lagat. Really a great interviewee and example for runners of all ages -
Be professional and not haters how did the name lance come across with lagats.

Sorry, dudes. I no longer work handling samples for non-white, foreign-born, naturalized, Americans--I managed Lagat's cooked A sample. If I was I could fix the sample to fail the A test, and with enough donated money, the B sample handler could be convinced to make sure the test came acceptable to all white-male runners.
I currently work at a pizza joint, and am in charge of handing out taste samples. I could use some cash. My mom is increasing the rent on her basement where I live. -
