Hey guys, I've been training in the WaveRider 17 for a little while now, never tried the 16 but heard good things about them... Now I see model 18 is out. Any WaveRider fans able to comment on version 16 vs 17 vs 18? I'm a forefoot striker looking for a neutral lightweight cushioned shoe for 40-50miles/week..
Hey, I work in a running store. Hate mizunos personally, but if you enjoy the ride in the 17 then you will love the 18. Mizuno got terrible reviews for their Rider 17 and the updates they made to the new model are pretty nice. It's lighter and softer and the upper is a much better fit on the foot.
Totally agree with the above poster, version 18 much better than 17 in my opinion as well.
