I'll be in Beaverton next week and would like to run on their trails. I'll be wearing all Nike gear so as to not attract attention. I was just wondering if anyone here on Lets Run who lives in Oregon runs on the Nike trails on a regular basis without any problems.
I never had a problem when I lived out there. Some people say "make sure to wear Nike." But I never did. Wildwood trail, located near the zoo was always my favorite.
No one will bother you on the Hollister Trail and they probably won't bother you on the berm (which is on the perimeter of campus). There's actually a scooter cop that patrols Hollister, but they won't kick you off, especially if you're wearing Nike.
The Nike track is a different story. They will likely boot you off if you aren't wearing Nike.
The berm trail is partially closed due to construction. It'll route you onto the sidewalk on the road outside of headquarters. I've seen people get hassled for not wearing Nike shoes. A woman called security.
You can run on Hollister Trail no problem. Signs say it's for Nike employees only, but I've never seen anyone hassled.
The Michael Johnson track is currently undergoing some construction, so couldn't tell you what the situation is there.
I prefer running on the Nike track wearing my Adidas shoes, Asics socks, Brooks shorts, and Saucony shirt.
If I get hassled I throw down a surge and show then I mean business.
In all seriousness, I do wear Nike Dri-fit socks.
If anyone says anything to you, just tell the employee that Nike told you to "Just Do It."
I said this on the last thread about running at Nike, but unless you really like doing loops, you should hit up Forest Park instead. It can't imagine there is an "urban" park anywhere better for running.
Can I run on the track with no-name brands or if I take my logos? I've got a longstanding boycott of them from their Lance sponsorship days and from standing by TW and JP.

There are signs that say the trail is only for Nike employees. Security does patrol the trails but I doubt they would hassle anyone.
You're boycotting them yet you want to run on their track? Yeah, seems legit. If you think US distance running is in bad shape now why don't you stop and think what it would be like without all of the support from Nike?
Anyway, I wouldn't try to run on the track in anything other than Nike shoes, at least not during business hours.
