Long story short-- was misdiagnosed with a stress fracture.
I did pool running and cycling for 7 days, all were at about "easy run" effort except for 2 hard sessions.
All in all it was really just some toe muscles and I just needed to stretch better.

It's my second day back running and my muscles hurt and my breathing is a bit off.
A) How much fitness could I have lost and
B) how long will it take me to regain?
What would some good workouts be to get back in that shape fast?
I have a 2:07 PR in the 800m and I need to get back to that. I race on Saturday. Next Saturday is regionals and I need to be ready for that.
