Hey I got a quick question. I was running in my annual Thanksgiving 10k today and going a comfortable pace nothing crazy fast and my leg muscles halfway through started twitching and making it hard for me to run with my normal stride. It was mainly on one side and I also noticed it made me slap that food down and it was turning in. Everything was off and no matter how i tried to fix it i couldnt snap out of it and ended up running a good 4 min slower then I should have been. This is the first time this has ever happened during a race. But during this past xc season on a couple of tempo runs the same thing happened, but since it never occurred in any actual races i never worried too much. Now its happening more often and today it was the worst. I dont know what is going on and i dont know how to make it go away. I am thinking that it may be related to my hamstrings but i am not sure how. They have been abnormally tight no matter how much I stretch and I have been getting massage therapy on them but its not making them much looser. If anyone has ever had this happen to them or any advice about what it may be I would really appreciate it. Thanks a lot and Happy Thanksgiving!!
