Bahamas being introduced in heat #3 and the crowd goes nuts. Just hearing the crows is why this is my favorite track meet.

How relaxed does our men's DMR look and did they look ready to rumble at breakfast?

Timing error so they are showing a brother and sister fighting on the big screen.

The brother then did a little Bolt and waived his Jamaican flag.

Anyone know how Universal does its TV broadcast? The 4x400 is at 10:01 pm so I assume the broadcast extends past 10:00 pm

who has a backdoor feed?

The Kenyan 4x200 had an American anchor. Are international teams making trades these days?

I think they'll extend it. They have in the past for events like this.

I didn't see our team but I was going out to check out the pool/Beach at 4pm and who do I see walking by with his shirt off? Ryan Gregson.

We chatted a bit. I joked htat him going for a quick swim is something the Americans wouldn't do, definitely more laid back and Australian. He said he needed to help wake up anyway as he was still on Australian time and didn't wake up until about 1pm.

We then somehow started talking about other sports: Premier League football (he's a casual fan, but did tell my British sprinter Martyn Rooney is a big Crystal Palace fan), cricket (huge fan), and American football. He revealed he has a Johnny Manziel jersey. I have no clue how we started talking about everything but track.

Last night he said, he's running the 1200, Williamsz the 800, and Collis B the 1600.

Only other thing of was I walked right pass Stephanie Hightower hotel corridor. Didn't realize it until I went by but I should have turned around and asked her about Dennis Mitchell coaching team USA since the USA press office just doesn't care to issue anything about Dennis.

Weather 77 degrees and breezy. 9mph winds. It feels windier than that to me.

Jamaica (no Bolt) won Heat 1 in 1:20.19

USA (no Gay or Gatlin) won Heat 2 in 1:20.78

Kenya won heat 3 in 1:22:44 over Bahamas.

Yes we traded Kenya a 200 leg for a 1200 leg TBD.

Wait did Kenya botch another relay?

Also what was with all the DQs and DNFs in Jamaica's heat? (4x200)

Men's 4x200 heats were an absolute mess.

Six DQs, two DNFs and two DNSes.

Kenya was DQ'd in heat 3. In fact, everyone except the Bahamas and Switzerland was DQ'd in that heat, so those two advanced to the final by default.

I guess the runners had a lot of problems because it's such a rarely-run event.

Let's get the stick around ladies.

Yeah, they show the intros (though my webstream is starting to freeze up now). I really like the intros.
