Do you realize you are talking about people with that sentence? lol
Dumbest thing I've ever heard and I've heard a lot.
A retahrd could talk about an idea like for example putting a fork in a electric socket (ever tried it?). A genius like Einstein could talk about people like for example his wife or kids or colleagues.
Here's an idea for you. Don't post ridiculously stupid broad statements and people won't always call you stupid.

I'm betting you discuss people a lot.
I'm betting a lot of people have told you that you are stupid. And probably a few events and ideas have too...
Hmmm......you mean like Pol Pot and Ieng Sary talking about the idea of "pure communism" for Cambodia while students in Paris?
The origin of that quote is discussed here:

Nice link. Thanks!
Normal people talk about all three and don't give a s*** about broad statements like that determining their topics of conversation.
I am guessing that you are correct about L Dopa.I have a brilliant guy that reports to me ... he is brilliant, EE major, he studies number and game theory as a hobby, and he can't stop talking about football and football players.

That's the idea.
I have also worked with a number of people who are brilliant research scientists who are socially retarded and have no real world skills outside of their very narrow area of knowledge.
The quote above was made by a pompous and arrogant a-hole trying to put down someone.

The quote is about generalities... Anyone who doesn't instantly recognize that is a twit. From my experience, stupid people do indeed tend to talk a great deal about people and little else. They virtually never talk about ideas. People who are regarded as intelligent tend to be the opposite; while they of course do discuss people some, it doesn't dominate what they have to talk about, and they enjoy discussing ideas when in company that allows for it. This is actually a great way to get a feel for the brainpower of a person... just listen to what they talk about and then ask them a question about an idea and see how they respond.
And geniuses troll lrc.

That's Great! Thanks for posting!
You dumb rtard, the quote is not speaking to whether someone does any one of these things once ever in their lifetime, it's speaking about who does what most often. Obviously, you're one of the dipshhhtt rtrds who spends most of the time talking about other people, dumb btch.
Yep, another dpshhttt admitting ignorance. If you didn't care, you wouldn't have gotten defensive. Dumb sack of shhhyyyytttt

Nope, the OP was stating an idea.
