Suppose you start an interval workout at the same time KB starts running 25 laps at, for the sake of simplicity, a perfectly even 63.0 pace. What total distance could you spend pacesetting for him before he finishes?
Every time you stop, you can move around however you want. For example, you can go 200 meters in 31.5, then jog backwards 100m until KB gets there and pace him another 200 meters. Or you can go 300 meters, jog across the infield and pick him up again on the backstretch. The only rule is each "on" interval has to be directly in front of him moving at 63 pace.
Or if that's too much volume, pace a 13:07.5 5000m.
