Krummenacker to run 1500?

isnt it kind of too late to "mature" into a 1500 runner at the age of 30?

there really aren't that many good 1500m runners who are past 30. obviously there are exceptions but there's a reason a guy like El G is moving up to 5K (and likely beyond, soon). i imagine he'll move up to the 1500 more this year but i think the WC this year will be his last hurrah (internationally, of course. considering the crap we have at the mid-distances, he should last here for a few more years). he's still talented enough to do well, i think, in whichever one he chooses next year. however, he needs to figure out his racing tactics or whatever is wrong mentally. i think he's got a better chance over 1500m (can be less of a crap-shoot at the US trials), but i don't know whether he has the ability to hold up over multiple rounds of the 1500. i don't think he's done rounds since college at that distance. obviously, that could be trained for but i think his heart really lies in the 800 and he'd probably want one last shot.
