    I bet you'll talk about the decline of the sport. When you do that - perhaps you can talk about how popular XC is in the US (HS/College).

    chris derrick has no chance

    The surface means a lot less when you are up against guys who have run sub 13. No one on the US team has done that.

    And Ethiopia and Kenya have multiple.
