How good is that? He looks like a 14 year old too, so he should continue to improve. It was actually a 4.6 hand time.

dime a dozen. Everyone thinks they ran 4.5-4.8 in high school. College football coaches say that they get dozens of kids coming in every year who claim to have run 4.4 in high school. Then, 3-4 years later at the nfl combine they're running 4.5-4.6 Did they get slower after 4 years hard training with an elite football program, or where their high school 40 times suspect.
No one can hand time a 40.
The reason kids don't get faster from HS to NFL is that they put on 20-30 pounds of shoulder and upper body muscle and only 5 pounds of lower body muscle.
It's hard to get an accurate 40y time with hand-timing, and hard to compare with others for the same reason. Nevertheless, this is a very quick time for a freshman. We had a 49/1:5x long sprinter come out to our wrestling practice to run 40s with us one day and he could only run 4.8-4.9 (I ran 5.3) and he was a senior. A (male) freshman can improve a lot in high school and almost always does.
Female coach having affair with male runner. Should I report it?
Colin Sahlman runs 1:45 and Nico Young runs 1:47 in the 800m tonight at the Desert Heat Classic
If Daniel's and Pfitz are outdated..then where do I look for modern training plans?
