Chris Chavez. He writes for ESPN Endurance.
He posted a pic on twitter the other day of him shoveling snow off a travk. Why isn't he running?
It's over, but there will always be 2010. Just like for Webb. There will always be 2007. 2 masterful years for each.
Runners and there frail bodies *lol*
Look at his hamstring in this photo:

That does not look like something that can support an elite runner anymore.
Remember the time Chris Chavez made it sound like Ryan Hall was leaving Jack Daniels for Steve Magness? http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=6096833

My gosh. That picture makes me cringe.
What a beat. Solinsky seems to be too big for the marathon but I'd have said the same thing about the 10k -
http://www.letsrun.com/2010/heightweight0504.phpDon't give up Chris. Just to have him ont he start line in LA next year would have me pumped. I hope he debuts there so the fans can have the unknown excitement.
The appearance of his hamstring in that photo is from his surgery and doesn't just looking odd b/c the camera caught a moment when the muscle was flexing or relaxing or something?
Man that does make me shudder.
Were there ever any specific hamstring pics released by him or of him after the surgery?
Literally word for word the caption from under the picture you read: "Chris Solinsky runs in a pack at the 2014 Beach to Beacon 10K. A gap in his upper hamstring as a result of surgery is visible in his left leg."

Yes, staff writing photo captions are basically anatomists.
Idiot.
Oh good gravy! I totally missed that in the first glance of the picture. It looks like a bad photoshop job.

He has to qualify first. Too bad there wasn't an official Hmar split at the 25K last year. He was surely under 65:00.

Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Des Linden: "The entire sport" has changed since she first started running Boston.
