Where is the former zag these days?
The GOAT of college ball.
Kidding (kinda), but i was a big fan and it's a shame his NBA career didn't amount to much,
Some good college players don't make it in the NBA. It happens. He probably made a lot of money in the NBA even though he wasn't a good NBA player. Hope he invested wisely.
I remember watching a Lakers/ Charlotte game late one night on the internet. Shannon Brown torched the lakers. Not long after that the lakers traded Radmanovic for Morrison and Brown. I told everybody then the lakers had no interest in Morrison. Brown helped the lakers win 2 titles while Morrison mostly sat the bench.
He was injured early on and that affected him. The fact is, however, that in the NBA if you are not considered the star, they will not run plays for you and hence, they will not work to get you shots. Very quickly the opportunity runs out if you cannot create your own shots. The number of great college scorers who don't make it in the league is long.
I remember watching this guy play in college. He was so ridiculous looking. Does anyone have access to old copies of ESPN the Magazine from back then? There's one picture I remember from an article on Morrison with him holding this tiny bike he used to ride around campus. I just remember him looking so goofy. Little beard, thick arms, tiny bike. Hilarious. He may have had a tie dye t-shirt on?

The actual NCAA GOAT is Pistol Pete. Dude AVERAGED 44 points per game (before 3-point shots were instituted) while @ LSU. No one else has ever come close. Not Jordan, Bird, Alcindor, Chamberlain, or Magic.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvf_OSN_6NQI remember a big Morrison or Reddick thread on LRC. Reddick might not have the same caliber pro career as his college career, but after some hard work he's a very solid player.
