I think Blankenships move letting Centro out of the box and saying in essence: "Come on, let's you and I take this race over and get it started for real!" --Is one act of BADDASS Sportsmanship.
I'm now rooting for Blankenship BIGTIME, it may not have been the perfect race strategy, as he didn't win, but they didn't run under 4:00, he did get Second - showing he's a man's man, and a class act, and a true brother in the brotherhood of men's running.
I hope Centro was buying his beer after the meet, hell a nice meal.
He easily could have hesitated or thrown a hand and shoved Centro back into the box, instead he said "come on, let's go!"
Awesome.
