Immediately after Lauren Wallaces win in the 1000m Oiselle CEO Sally Bergeson tweets "Karma's a b#@&ard."
What does this mean? Still mad at the Nike advertising? Was there something else?

I'm sick of that bitter witch. Her entire flock of leather faced hags and there bitter twitter posts is just making people hate her product more. I hope the free market takes other and the big apparel makers squish her out of existence.
Sally has no chill. Her antics over the past year likely cost Wallace a post race interview.
I can't take their brand seriously

I believe Kara Goucher will be back with a major shoe/apparel before 2016. This was a bad move for her to be associated with Sally B, and it seems like she is not in all those flock of hags pictures the past few months. Yet Sally B keeps putting her own picture in the centre of her group of current competing runners.
Sally doesn't tweet. Lauren has full control of the Twitter account. She was talking about it all last week.
They have the worst uniforms. I couldn't even tell who won the race (brand-wise). I figured it was Reebok or New Balance.
Does this lashing out have anything to do with Mary Saxer being cut from Oiselle for having multiple sponsors? While Lauren Fleshman said Oiselle supports multiple sponsors, I'm guessing Oiselle does not support Nike as being one of those multiples as evidenced by the photo below. I hope the back story comes out, otherwise Oiselle is going to lose on this one and appear as hypocritical jerks. http://www.imageofsport.com/image/28195433https://twitter.com/laurenfleshman/status/571702335480573952https://twitter.com/pmsprinter/status/571710483184672768

Do you really have a problem with the entire team or just Fleshman? Wallace doesn't strike me as an old hag.
If you look at Brooks Marketing, and how the Beast athletes presents themselves, and the Brooks product in social media, this is what works. Positive advertising. A big win for Brooks. When you see the Oiselle group tweets, is is alway some insecure crap or pure bitterness towards the big shoe companies.

I knew it was them because of their whole marketing ploy...Girl Power! Of course they wear hot pink.
Sally couldn't let her athlete celebrate her win, she had to get the last passive aggressive word in. The people who favorite or retweet that type of unprofessional junk from a CEO can't think for themselves.
Oiselle is childish, they have to be the most hated running brand on letsrun.
Looks like the tweet has been removed. Someone make lauren flesh a disappear please.....
I didn't see the tweet, but it just seems so ridiculous. How many Nike athletes won championships at this meet? vs. 1 Oiselle athlete? And that's karma? That is so short sighted. Congrats to Lauren Wallace on an awesome race. I hope she is supported well by the flock of birds. But if they think one Oiselle athlete beating a Nike athlete is "Karma" they just don't get it at all. And I agree that the tweet was disrespectful to Lauren, who won the race because she ran smart and fast, not because she was running for some vendetta.
Yes, Fleshman and Sally are back tracking and deleting the tweets. I think Lauren Wallace and family have some business decisions. Wallace ran a great race, and now if she progresses, does she have to worry about Fleshman tainting her personal efforts with her own feud with Nike on social media. God that Oiselle group present themselves a an mean ugly group in social media.
Tweet is still there:

I agree with others that positivity trumps negativity/passive-aggressiveness. Oiselle seems invested in U.S. track so they should be easy to like/support, but I find that they're often catty & cliquey (word I made up). I also think that in venerating & making excuses for women who aren't performing at their best (see Lauren & Kara) they're actually doing women a disservice. Alysia Montaño went out there sans BS & showed the #motherrunners to dream bigger.
Bottom line is for Oiselle, Lauren Wallace should have been the story today. Let your athlete's performance do the talking.
*Alysia Montano
as someone halfway into this thread mentioned, it is squarely this tweet from Paul Moser (whose wife was 3rd I think?) that drew out that snippy response from oiselle sally. As others have mentioned, yes, pretty childish, but honestly that's been par for the course from oiselle, fleshman, & the like. I appreciate their support of female athletes and many times they are 100% in the right with their stances, but this was yet another instance of where they could have very easily taken the high road and said something like "congrats to all the competitors in the womens 1K, especially our very own nat'l champ, lauren wallace!" or something similar.https://twitter.com/pmsprinter/status/571710483184672768

Again, posters keep saying "the group" is known to do this. Isn't it just Fleshman? What other Oiselle athletes have taken a shot at others?

It leaks out like bile.... I would say the Oiselle posts are "catty", insecure, and are always behind the persons back.
