I switched to the 2090s from the Max Motos about a month ago. Prior to the switch I ran a race (4 miles) for the first time in a couple of months, and noticed very slight hip/groin irritation but nothing major at all. Within three days of starting to run in the 2090s my hip was very VERY sore and I had to take a week off just to reduce the pain, and have now eased back into it but am still in pain. Anyone know if this makes sense, considering the two shoes? The research I did said that the 2090s were for neutral runners, which I am, but recently I've seen info saying that the pronation system on the 2090s is in the forefoot instead of the heel, like the motos. Any feedback would be appreciated.
