Wow! That is an awesome run. Is she peaking too early and setting herself up for another subpar outdoor campaign (as compared to her indoor results)?
She's an amazing runner, but honestly one of the most doped performances I've seen in a while. I'm sorry, but the charade needs to end
The splits where.

You beat me to it. Another indoor season peak. I hope she can find a way to carry this form into summer.
This was especially difficult because she had no rabbit to pace her. She was all alone
We're working on a brief recap with some analysis and screen shots but thought Id' share with you all now (we always try to reward messageboarders).
Quick Take #**: Let's Try To Put This In Perspective For You: Dibaba's 2-Mile Split Was Faster Than Jenny Simpson's American Record
How good is 14:18.88? Very good.
Two weeks ago in Boston, one of the highlights of the 2015 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix was Jenny Simpson’s 9:18.35 American record for 2-miles.
Well a 14:18.88 5000 evenly run would take Dibaba through 2 miles in 9:12.78. Based on Dibaba’s 3000 split and what she ran for the next 1k, we’d estimate she actually ran through 2-miles in about 9:15.26.

Why do you think that was a doped performance? OK, she did run the last 1000m faster than any of the women ran their last 1000m in last weekend's Wannamaker Mile, but that's totally normal, right?
It's very strange if she doesn't get some outdoor marks soon. All the other greats, Defar, her sister, Geb, El G, they all broke indoor WRs and outdoor too. She is the only one yet who hasn't outdoor. And her indoor marks have been arguable most impressive.
Maybe she can lower her other 1500 now that she is hot. I think it was Geb who said the best time to break a WR is right after you've broken a WR
First sub 14 in HERstory? #sub14
The only thing that needs to end is your worthless libelous life.
This will anger you to suicide, but Genzebe is CLEAN
That's nuts. On a 200m track, she ran 7 seconds off her sister's outdoor WR.

Nothing in a world record is normal.
OK, well, as long as she's not coached by one of those shady Italian coaches, I guess I'll take it at face value.

That's not nuts to me.
Isiah Koech's indoor pb is 12:53.29. His outdoor pb is 12:48.64.
Galen Rupp's indoor PB is 13:01.26. His outdoor pb is 12:58.90.
You can run nearly as fast indoors as outdoors (some think it's faster) paticularly at 5000. Outdoors on the DL circuit, many of the 5000s are run in the middle of a windy day. Indoors the temperature is perfect and there is zero wind.
Anyone remember that year when I think T Dibaba but maybe it was Defar ran like 14:30s in like 90+ heat in New York. The weather was awful.

And validates her decision to say she's a 5000 runner, not 1500. Personally I think she should go for the 1500/5000 double. That's never been done before. Set up the schedule so it's doable.
If you run 3:55 indoors, you are a gold medal favorite in the year 2015.

Well you're in luck - she's not.
Let's face it, Genzebe's success is good for the sport, she's a beauty queen in spikes.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
